About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and career-focused Graduate Offshore Operations Supervisor to join our offshore drilling team. This entry-level role is designed to foster continuous learning and professional development in offshore well operations. Working closely with experienced professionals, you will support the successful delivery of drilling and completion activities while gaining hands-on exposure in the field.

You will report directly to the Drilling Operations Superintendent and rotate on a 28/28 schedule (28 days offshore, 28 days off).


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of offshore well operations in Nigeria.

  • Support senior operations supervisors and contribute to well delivery and performance.

  • Monitor and ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols.

  • Assist in coordinating work with geologists, reservoir engineers, and drilling/completion teams.

  • Ensure procedures are followed as per the drilling program and operations are optimized.

  • Make sound decisions in emergency situations to protect personnel, the environment, and assets.

  • Oversee proper implementation of the Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) onboard.

  • Verify and maintain all rig and third-party equipment to ensure operational readiness.

  • Monitor casing operations and ensure correct tallying, running, and cementing.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pollution control measures.

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of operations, materials, equipment, and well evaluations.

  • Participate in planning support and continuous operational improvements as needed.


Who You Are

  • A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology.

  • Have no more than 3 years of relevant engineering experience since graduation.

  • Eager to learn and pursue a long-term career in offshore well operations.

  • Willing and able to work offshore on a 28/28 rotational schedule.

  • Open to international assignments, training, and long-term development opportunities.
